Default Homemade roach food

My first attempt at making my own roach food has worked really well so far for all my roaches. I used to buy commercial ground roach meal which can cost $2.50 to $4.50 a pound plus shipping but that gets pricey when you have 1000's of hungry roaches so I researched what ingredients are in those foods and here's how I made mine. If anybody has any suggestions on how to improve this please let me know. I still put raw carrots, squash, bananas, apples, etc in their bins on a rotation. Nothing but the best for my babies! Here we go;
I mixed in a big bowl,
1 cup dry dog food
1 cup dry cat food
1 cup rabbit pellets
1/2 cup baby rice cereal
5 kelp pills
1 tbsp bee pollen
I ground this up in a fine meal using an old blender a bit at a time. If you make more than this I think it should be kept in the fridge but it's cold enough in the garage right now...
I used to be all messed up on alcohol. Well now I'm all messed up on bugs!

Thumbs up Homemade Roach Food

I like the idea of making my own food. Do I get the bee pollen and the kelp tabs from the health food store? Everything else I have readily at hand. Love all the help I am getting on this forum.

i bought high protein chicken feed. 50 pound bag was only about 7 bucks, and i can grind it in a coffee grinder FAST.
2 cups chicken feed
1 cup cat food
1/2 cup baby rice food

i want to get kelp tabs and bee pollen, but the roaches eat this fast. also, i'm not sure that this is the reason, but since i started using the chicken feed, my colony has grown twice as fast. does anyone dehydrate and grind veggies, and if so what kind?
